Scanner cable FAIL

i borrowed my boyfriends mothers cable for the scanner but she needed it back, so now i can't use the scanner which SUCKS so much BALLS.
Anyway i've discovered i like to make paper children :'3 so i'm doing that along with some watercolour things, i'm also learning how to lineart in photoshop which is easier than i thought so i may upload some digital art though i hate it in comparison to traditional. T_T i'm crap, so so crap.
i also thought i better add a journal to my barren page l-lol;;
i have to make an ID....

Hmm, i would say practise ALOT, the more you do the more you will develop your own style and things that work for you. take inspiration with other art, not just in the style you like but in others as well. don't get disheartened if a piece doesn't come out the way you like.
My "style" used to be VERY different lol. and sometimes i hate my "cutesy" stuff and want to do something completely different.
i hope this somewhat helps,
